Fluffy Scene Viewer
Prototype

FSV Main.png

The Fluffy Scene Viewer Prototype is a simple game with only one scene a couple characters for you to converse with. Its mainly just a prototype for me to finally share some of my game work! I am excited to expand from here and bring about bigger projects filled with more characters and stories!

Setup:

- Download to a location you prefer

- Unzip the file

- Run the .exe file

Controls:

I didn't make anything too fancy with the prototype, but I do plan on making full controller bindings and changing the bindings in the settings in future works.

Move: ASWD (I think direction Arrows work to?)

Camera: Mouse

Pause: P (ESC also works)

Unpause: P (ESC also) Can also click resume button from pause menu.

Talk: F

Scroll to next line of text: Left mouse button:

Scroll text faster: Hold Left mouse button down (this seems bugged?)

Disclaimer:

There are some system limitations I should mention...

First is the obvious being for Windows systems.

However, the major thing is that if you get an ERROR saying something with DD11, it probably mean's your system cannot play the game.

This game requires Direct x12 and SM6 (shader model 6) to play. I will be making sure to fix this in the future.

Any errors you encounter, please do let me know in the anonymous contact form below!

I will be honest, I'm not sure if it will run on anyone else's system... I am prepared for this possibility of course. It'd suck. But better to know now than to have made a completed project that doesn't work. The issue is mainly the character models being made with Live 2D as opposed to what you'd generally make characters with. Kind of why it requires Direct x12 right now. It was kind of a hassle to get these models to work in the first place...

Here's a compiled list of known issues in case you don't want to share what is already known:

- Requires Direct x12 to play (something I will fix in the future) - Characters don't look as good as they do in my animation videos: This is due to me being lazy and not using a higher resolution texture than 1024 for testing reasons. I could have made a higher resolution texture, but I don't have a good reason to use these models outside the prototype. And its main purpose is to just test functionality over appearance overall. So apologies here. - Characters have an odd rotation? They are set to follow the player, but since from where they originate they are not centered. this should make sense as to why this occurs. With future resources being made for the project in mind, they will be centered and it will be resolved. - Holding the Left mouse button down while text scrolls does not seem to make the text scroll faster. This is still a work in progress I guess for my dialogue tool/system. Thought I had it working, but doesn't seem like it wants to work outside of testing. - Character animations seem "odd" at times? Such as the facial animation doesn't match up to how it should. - Character animation isn't updating to the next stage. Such as they continue to "use diaper" even though they are talking to you post that stage. This is yet again more work in progress stuff that I had working in testing. - Dialogue freezes and does not continue printing. Have to pause and quit game.

This is a compiled list of my ideas I have for gameplay features for the future for the Fluffy Scene Viewer! - Controller Support - Controller Rebind Support - Typical Visual Novel Dialogue Menu Support - Organized Series and Chapter listing - 3rd Person camera that will follow a character for you to play as and a potential squad follows you around. Can swap characters around? - Cinematic Camera support that plays out cutscenes - Perhaps panning the camera to a certain angle (such as you would for looking under skirts) allows you to check diapers? - Will have sound effects. - Will have original music. - Customize the UI design to fit my style than how it is (its something that I threw together just for this prototype).
